Along with our growth and technological advancements, Fishermen’s Community Hospital proudly serves as a community hospital for the Middle Keys and Monroe County community. We are involved in our community, and our community is involved with us through the Auxiliary.
Day after day, auxiliary volunteers bring, their cheerful smiles and helping hands to work. They can be easily recognized by their pink jackets (auxilians). They give thousands of hours of service staffing the visitor’s desk, delivering mail and flowers, operating the Boutique, offering TLC, staffing Surgical Hospitality and X-Ray and operating the Craft Workshop. They hold special events annually including the Christmas Bazaar, Dinner Dance, Cruise and Card Party to name just a few.
These very special people work hard because they want to and just like all of us, they too are committed to making Fishermen’s Community Hospital “The Hospital of Choice for the Florida Keys”. For more information about becoming an Auxilian, please call the Auxiliary Office at (305) 289-6408.
